How to Get to the Dry Gulch Ranch Cowboy Range

Hope to see you there!!

Are we really going to shoot Easter Sunday?

<div class="IPBDescription">We might want to rethink this.</div>I asked "the wife" what would happen if I and the kids went to a cowboy shoot on Easter Sunday. All I got was "the look." At first she thought that I was trying to be funny. After I said that we had a shoot scheduled for that date I got more than "the look."<br />
<br />
We could probably do it, but the price would be consderably higher than the $15. shooting fee.<br />
<br />
I'll bring this up with the "Rough Riders" for further discussion, as it has already started to rumble around in conversation, but thought that I should open up this can of worms to the general posse to see what comment we might get.

    I agree with JJ that shooting on Easter Sunday is probably not a good idea. Since the GGP range is private property, would there really be a problem in scheduling it on a different Sunday in April or maybe just have the main shoot on the Saturday before Easter instead..........? Just some thoughts.

    Problem with other dates in April is we didn't want to conflict with other club shoots. <br />

    Not sure what those might be or what might work better. I suspect that not all the other clubs have posted all their shoots yet.

    How about a Saturday instead? Or, make it a night shoot and we can all bring flashlights..... <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

    I don't think there would be a problem with shooting on Saturday, the 15th; it wouldn't conflict with other clubs and, besides, this is just going to be a "maybe" shoot anyways, if the weather is decent.<br />

  • A Saturday shoot may keep us all out of a lot of hot water, although depending on how cold it is it might feel good.

    My grand children come to the farm and hunt eater eggs. Boy would the sh-t fly when I leave to shoot. Mercy, Mercy may have to get some heat installed in the trailer.
  • I would have to vote for Sat. the 14th only. Good catch JJ. Big Grit

    I vote for Saturday as well. Let me know what you decide, I'm sure some of us could meet out there friday afternoon and get things set up easy enough.
