A few things of interest.

A little different from the last board, this one will take you back to the main website if you click on "Good Guys Posse" underneath the picture of the Good Guy in the upper left corner. If you click on the Good Guy or anywhere to the right of him, it will simply return you to the main Hitching Post page.<br />

You will also find that this Hitching Post is slower than the other one during normal business hours. Why? To keep costs down, we are using a shared server and during busy hours you have to get in line to reach the database. You will notice that the board slows down around 8-9 AM and speeds up considerably after about 3-4 PM. Hopefully, this won't present much of a problem as most of us will be using it during the "faster" hours. We could get a dedicated server like SASS uses for only $300 a month - anyone have a rich uncle?<br />

What this means is we have to be patient when hitting a send, load, or submit button. Watch your progress bar at the top of your browser (or wherever it is on yours) and if has started across, don't hit the button again. That is how folks make double or triple posts.<br />

DD, thanks for all of your hard work in gettin the Hitching Post back up and runnin'. I like the new look and format. Will we be able to add our picture back in to our posts? If so, when and how? Yep, you can put them in. Go to "My Controls" and look on the left side where it says "Edit Avatar Settings". Choose the GGP avatar gallery and you will find your picture from the last Hitching Post board.<br />
