Well, it was cold and windy but eleven hearty cowboys and one cowgirl made it to the GGP Trap Shoot! Aside from the temperatures, it was a good day and I know I had fun,sure hope everyone else in attendance did as well.<br />

These shells replace the ones he wasted today. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pokey.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':pokey:' /><br />

Let's see...<br />

I decided to use up the three boxes of misfits from the three cases of shells I loaded so on the first round I had trouble with the ammo and forgot to bring a couple of extra shells to the line. Then the second round the screw had backed out on my "Chinchester" so the hammer strike wasn't heavy enough to set off the shells and by the third round I was almost ready to start shooting. <br />

All and all sixteen for an average with all the problems I had wasn't bad. Next time we'll have to have a few more rounds for people like me who need three rounds to just get warmed up. Still no way I could ever match Emmett. <br />
<br />
Had a good time and it was certainly more fun than picking up the leaves that I just gave up on. Too windy for picking up leaves, but not for shooting trap.

The difficulty in shooting a goose would come in being able to have a place to do it and/or having something fly over in range to shoot at. Perhaps I should start throwing rocks like your mother who seems to be able to dispatch them that way (GET OFF MY LAWN!).<br />
<br />
Also might remind one son and daughter that disparaging number one father might get their rooms rented out while they're away at school.

If you rent out their rooms, do they get to keep the rental money? Could make a difference, you know.
