"View New Content" confusion

  There seems to be a lot of confusion over the "View New Content" link and what it is showing you.<br />

  By default "View new content" uses the last visit time to check for new topics so when that time is updated you "loose" topics from the results.<br />
  <br />
  If you want to truly list all the topics you haven't read go in "My Settings (dropdown menu top-right) -> Settings TAB -> General Settings -> View New Content Method (look at the bottom of the page)" and from there select: "Show me all content that I have not read".<br />
