    [font=times new roman,times,serif]Clean I would have thought that whoever lost the ejector rod, housing and spring would have stuck around after the shoot to look for it. Pretty amazing to find all the pieces except the screw! I lost one and only found the housing. But I now have extra springs housing and rods in my gun cart and tighten all screws after each match.[/font]

    The ejector assembly was clean and looked like a recent problem. If it had been from an earlier shoot, I'd think someone would have been asking around. It's also possible it may have been from the landowner or his friends.

    Hi Webslinger and Rough Rider: didn't clean Prairie Dog Don's guns until today, and low and behold..one of his pistols is missing its ejector assembly!! We'll pick it up when we attend the next shoot on the 25th. He hasn't shot since then and we never noticed it was missing - Thanks!!! Tumbleweed Kip and Prairie Dog Don

    Great! For a while there I thought I might have an addition to my parts drawer. I'll bring it along to the match. Keep in mind that the screw is missing and you'll need to get another. Clean the screw and screw hole good with alcohol then use lock tight when you reassemble it. Will help to avoid this problem in the future.

    Just a thought as i'm in the threaded fastener business (no gun screws). Use the BLUE locktight on small screws. If you use the red high strength you may not be able to get the screw out again and may bugger up the face of the screw. Remember to use hollow ground screwdrivers only for gun screws.     Bring the pistol to the match as I'll check my parts drawer as I think I may have a spare screw for a Ruger ejector. Might be able to get you going for the match.
