With the storms that went through there as of late it might be tough to just get down the road and into the range. Might want to call Rob to assess the damage before you go out there to know what you're going to be facing.
  • 97 and I are planning a "Range Pre Inspection" tour on Tuesday to see how things look and see what tools will be needed Saturday.
• The range is in fair condition. We have made arrangements to get some material delivered on Thursday morning. We will need rakes to level the new material and to clean up the walkway. Also some drill drivers to replace the boardwalk in front of the fort.
Also I want to change the starting time to 9 AM!
We need all the help we can get to get the range in shape for the first shoot.
Thanks
I will bring my Dewalt drill & some screws, rakes, cordless Dewalt saws all. Can you think of anything else we need?
• That sounds good. I can't think of anything else we need. See you in morning.
• Thanks to Shamrock, Portly, 97, Wrangler Rich, Hopalong Strong, and Orrin Sackett for all their work at the range Saturday!! We repaired some of the wood fences between the stages, rebuilt the board walk and modified the door to keep the rifle brass from getting lost at Fort Sackett and leveled out the walkway from the trailer to stage two. 97 used his tractor and loader to push the brush back across from the trailer. We also trimmed back some branches that were starting to get in the way.
Thanks again to everyone for all their hard work.
