I was a little shocked today when I received notice that someone had registered on the Hitching Post and that he was from Australia. Usually when I receive a new registration from outside the US, it goes right in the dumper since they obviously are only registering to spam us.<br />

This gentleman, on the other hand, answered all the questions right and seems to be one of us. So lets welcome "pete .45" to the forum!

I hate having to take you to task, but I think your post had a derogatory tone to it. He's had problems in the past and has some character flaws, but I don't think Pee Wee Herman's name deserves to be associated with that egomaniacal (funny that word wasn't already in my browser's dictionary...) socialist libtard in the White House. By the way, I hear they are going to "reboot" the Australian-based Mad Max franchise with a new movie: Mad Max - Beyond the Solar Panel. This time, Max starts to defend the villagers using a kangaroo plush toy as his only weapon, but he realizes that the "castle doctrine" is morally indefensible for a progressive liberal, and he encourages the helpless survivors to join him in an attempt to flee to New Zealand using solar-powered cars and boats.<br />

Respect for the office perhaps, for the man not so much. I suspect he wasn't even a good community organizer.
