Work accomplished on the loading/unloading stations
Today was a work day at the Gulch where the backstops of the loading/unloading stations were replaced. The old wood pickets were replaced with sheet metal. The sheet metal panels don't look as pretty as the pointed staves, but they will do a much better job of stopping bouncing shot and ricochets. They are also recycled material, thus being both cost-effective and postponing a trip to a land fill or the energy to melt them down and re-use the metal. I appreciate the donation of the material.
I did all the heavy lifting (my camera weighs 200 grams). Here are some pictures.
