That's a wrap! Thanks for a great season. See you all next year!
We should be shooting 2nd Saturday and 4th Sunday again next year.
Final schedule to be finalized in February.
<div class="IPBDescription">WEATHER REQUEST...</div>Okay MGS, no excuses this time! I want two days of good weather for the 15th & 16th. My wife is in the process of turning 20#'s of ground beef into meatballs and we have a like amount of Italian Sausage. Then to make the sauce and freeze everything so it's all ready for the shoot. <br />
<br />
We traded with Dice for July as we have to take my daughter down to Bradley Univ. in August. So I don't think we will be able to eat all that food or refreeze if we don't have the shoot. So if MGS doesn't deliver in the weather department he is looking at a Sicilian Curse of major magnitude. Not a threat, more of a promise. Take my word for the fact that you don't want to meet my wife's family (they have guns too only they ain't single action), at least 400 first cousins to start with. <br />
<br />
Italian sausage and/or meat ball sandwiches with red sauce. <br />
<br />
Well, time to leave the house. Not a good idea to be around when mama's cooking with my smart mouth. One wrong "amusing comment" and I'll become part of the mix. As everyone knows, I don't know how to keep my mouth shut.<br />
Bring an appetite to July's shoot.

The big bad wolf comes to the house of the 1st little pig. "Give me your money," he demands. The pig runs into the house, breaks open his piggy bank, and carries the money to the wolf. <br />
<br />
The next day, the wolf goes to the 2nd little pig's house. "Give me your money," he demands. The pig runs inside, grabs his wallet, and hands all the contents to the wolf. <br />
<br />
The next day, the wolf goes to the 3rd little pig's house. "Give me your money," he says, rubbing his paws together. <br />
<br />
The 3rd little pig walks inside and makes a phone call. "Well, where's my money," the wolf says, growling. "It's coming," the third little pig says. <br />
<br />
He sees his brothers watching, panic-stricken off in the field. <br />
<br />
A few minutes later, a black limo drives up. <br />
<br />
Three creatures get out, beat the tar out of the wolf and drive off. <br />
<br />
The 2 pigs off in the field come running up, "who were they," they ask. "Oh," the 3rd little pig says, "those were our cousins...the guinea pigs." <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':whistling:' /> <br />

Tell her that joke Jim, and then duck.<br />
<br />
<br />
I wish I could be there for the July shoot but I'll be down at Kentucky Lake trying to catch a limit of Smallmouth Bass.<br />
<br />
Hope ya'all have good weather.
<br />
I just want everyone to know that I have no personal knowledge of this story. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />
<br />
Excuses!? I don't make no stinkin' excuses!!<br />
<br />
Wellllllllllll, let's see ... the 15th and 16th are still a bit outside my crystal ball's timeframe and ability to predict. But, I would say, as of today (and things will change of course) there's a good chance for light during the day and plenty of dark at night. Figurin' the highs will be in the low 80's and lows around 60 that weekend. There will be a front come through with plenty of rain on the Tuesday - Thursday just prior to our shoot weekend. That could make the road a bit soft but I'm a thinkin' there will be plenty of sun on the 14th (since that is my birthday!!) and our weekend just may be kinda fine. Is that wishy-washy 'nough fer ya? Will git a bit more specific as the weekend draws near ......... <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':whistling:' />
<br />
Told the wife your story. Wants to know your real name and where you live. JUST KIDDING! She laughed hysterically. Sorry that you're gonna miss the July shoot. You'll miss a good feed.
No excuses, no predictions, we want results!

Your Mom gave me a sample last evening of the feast she's preparing for the match and it sure was good! I'll make sure I eat early before it's all gone.<br />

<br />
Well, I'm doing my best. The crystal ball is a bit clearer but I'm afraid the long range forecast for the 15th and 16th is currently a bit weak. Looks like there will be scattered T-Storms on the 11th and 12th, dry the 13th, scattered T-Storms (chance is 60%) on the 14th and 15th. Can't clearly see the 16th yet but will give you some more data in the next few days.<br />
<br />
BTW, it also looks like the US Cavalry will be in attendance at the shoot on the 16th. Lt. B. R. Sharps told me before he left on their 10-day marching band tour that he definitely wants to make that shoot. His circuit championships are the night of the 15th so that concludes his commitment until football starts.<br />
<br />
Hopefully, the weather will be conducive. Kocheese, no dancing!!! <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rolleyes:' />
<br />
<br />
Some additional info on July 7 -- forecast is now calling for rain this coming Tuesday and Wednesday but clear/mostly sunny after that. Highs will be in upper 80's with low's in mid 60's. Chance of precip from Friday thru Sunday is only 20%. So, it is going to be fairly warm but it looks, at this time, we will be dry!!
<br />
<br />
JJ, can't stop Mother Nature from doing her thing. For Tuesday the 11th and Wednesday the 12th, there is a 30% chance of isolated T-Storms in south central WI. It will, however be clear for the weekend . . . Hopefully. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thumbsup:' />
<br />

Talk to all yall later <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thumbsup:' />

<br />
Unfortunately, weather outlook has changed for the worse...<br />
<br />
There's a pretty big front on its way in from the west and should arrive in our area by this next weekend. <br />
<br />
Tuesday, July 11 -- isolated T-Storms; 30% chance of precip.; hi of 81, low of 68<br />
Wednesday, July 12 -- scattered storms; 40% chance of precip.; hi of 77, low of 68<br />
Thursday -- looks fine<br />
Friday, July 14 -- isolated T-Storms; 30% chance of precip.; hi of 86, low of 67<br />
Saturday, July 15 -- isolated T-Storms; 30% chance of precip.; hi of 86, low of 67<br />
Sunday, July 16 -- scattered showers; 60% chance of precip.; hi of 86, low og 67<br />
<br />
Keep your fingers crossed in the hope the front will either blow thru earlier than expected or will dissipate. <br />
<br />
Kocheese, have you been dancing again??
<br />
My Fingers Are Crossed Hoping for no RAIN!<br />
<br />
<br />
OK. Just returned from being out of town since Sunday morning. And, hey, the weather forecast is getting much better. After this system today blows on east during the evening, we will have sunny to partly cloudy skies until mid on Monday. Highs will be in upper 80's until Saturday when they will reach lower 90's (Sunday, too). Rain chance is only 20% each day so I'ma thinkin we're going to have dry conditions. Hope the monsoons of today haven't totally washed out the road though.<br />
<br />
So, JJ , I'm doing my best!!!!!!!! <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thumbsup:' />
<br />
<br />
Well, I handled the rain ( <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':blink:' /> ) and you are very right -- it will be daggone hot this weekend. There will be plenty of sweat but at least we won't have to take our guns apart to get the water out of them. Anyway, my recommendation is for everyone to bring extra water (each person should probably drink 3-4 bottles of water at a minimum during the shoot). During the shoot, if you don't have to use the blue telephone booth at least twice, you aren't drinking enough water!! If you've got light weight and light colored cowboy clothes, this weekend will be the time to break them out. It should be partly sunny, a little breezy, lots of humidity and very very warm. And, I, for one, do not plan on melting in my tracks but I will be melting some lead!
<br />
<br />
Thanks, JJ. Didn't know you liked me so much ......... <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':crazy:' />
<br />
Well Lizzie, I'm not so sure it's a soft heart as much as it's trying to deflect the attention from himself!<br />
