The Fandango is now posted on the GGP Hitching Post Calendar.

Keep in mind that it is being held the same weekend as the final GGP shoot/match of '06.

E Z Munny and I are tentatively planning on going, God willin' and if the crick don't rise . . . We, too, hope the rest of the GGP will come on up to the Fandango. We shot there last year. Stages are exceptional, food is great, and it is just a whole bunch of cowboy fun. Like someone else said, it is even better than Sparta.

Any chance the GGp might either postpone or just hold that final shoot at Kocheese Kanyon on a different weekend?

I did not realize that the M.F. overlaped out shoot. So I will not be going after all!! Too bad cause it a great shoot.
Move the GGP shoot to the next weekend. Why can't we do that? It is not until Oct. and that should give plenty of time to advertise, make adjustments, etc.
I think we should leave our match the third Sat. as scheduled. There are so many good matches out there, it's impossible to avoid conflicts. all you can do is pick which match and where you want to shoot. Big Grit

Would normally agree but not this time. This is the last shoot of the season at Kocheese Kanyon. There would be no harm, from my viewpoint, if we just moved it back a week. I am not aware of any other major shoot being held the last weekend of October so there would be no conflicts. However, if the Rough Riders feel changing it now would create havoc with many of the folks who normally shoot at KK, then by all means, leave it as is. And, as you say, people will just have to make a choice.
I realize that there are conflicts and issues, but (scary thought), I'm agreeing with The Muddy that it would be nice to end the season by being able to shoot both matches. I've shot with a lot of the GGP at Fandango and we seem to be getting more and more every year. Think about it.
I say leave it where it is. If you move it it will conflict with Oconomowoc, and that's the weekend of our banquet if I'm not mistaken. Like Grit said, we'll just have to make the choice.
