In responce to requests for screwdriver type knife Yes I will make some If you all can wait till Spring I promise. I will get a list together on who whats what. I am going to be gone rest of month to Yellowstone area and will miss August shoots.............I will do my utmost best to compete prices but I wont buy imported blades and slap handles on them Everything I do is handmade and I try to use the best materials ............ I'm all for supporting a local cowboy and may be interested in one of Virgil's knifes.<br />

I do feel I need to report having a very different experience with Redwing knifes than Dan reported. I own several and their knifes - they are 1st class. Redwing stand behind their work and they are great people to deal with. My screwdriver knife has fixed a dozen firearms at the loading tables and removed some stubborn screws. Redwing has been at the Utah CAS State Championship the last two years and by the last day most their knifes were gone ... I think this speaks tons about them. <br />

Hey pards, I'm with Black Magic on the Red Wing knife, I've had great success with mine, and the steel is great. The handle is pretty plain wood on mine, and the sheath is like a summer camp craft project, but I bought it for the blade and screwdriver tip!<br />

That said, if Virgil is making a run of similar product, I want in as well. I just got a new gun rig and would love something with a dark handle and black sheath to go with. Please keep us posted Virgil, and I am in no hurry. <br />

I have the first screwdriver knife in the works...I plan on making several. Some plain some fancy In carbon steel or damascus .Also different handle styles . A sheath can be custom made to match and fit your rig I will also sell with out a sheath...I hope to be able to start them at a 100$ I plan to make it to the Pumkin shoot More later Virgil
