I have a friend that has recently acquired a trap range in McHenry. After talking to him, I thought it might fun to have The First Annual Good Guys Posse Turkey Shoot. This will be on a day either the end of October or the first part of November. I will be posting the date in the near future when plans are firmed up. <br />
<br />
Now for the BIG news. As a grand prize we will be giving away a Turkey! You don't have to shoot it, just take it home if you win the match. Black and smokeless are both welcome and shot size is limited to 7 1/2 and smaller.<br />
<br />
Even if you've never shot anything like this, come on out anyway and give it a try. You can't do any worse than me, but it sure will be a good time joking and teasing each other.<br />

We all had a turn shooting birdshot at a Turkey paper target and the one who had the most beads on or near the Bullseye won the Turkey. They still do it that way?

Is it the old McHenry Trap Club grounds? <br />

Was thinking that I could bring my daughter's 20 guage and use that. About two inches chopped off the stock, but I have to use up all her shells as I'm going to win the Norinco and have that cut down for her. Will be fun with my face on top of the safety button.

I'll be up at the Mississippi Fandango at the end of this week but, yes, I would like to be included in the Turkey Shoot.<br />
Is this sufficient for a pre-registration? Otherwise, if you would, send me an e-mail so's I can check it when I get home and I'll contact you after the Fandango.<br />
