Yeah, well, I knew a jeweler, but he "retired", took the oath of poverty, and went to minister to the poor and underpriveledged, wearing his brown, indescript robe, sunglasses, a gunbelt, and a cigar. Don't know that he is available for earthly appraisals any more.

When you consider that the latest bid has exceeded the reserve amount by 2500% it has to upset poor Jailbird. He hasn't done as well with the Marlin that he offered before the start of this post. Maybe he'd be willing to accept a trade for the rifle. Even up, the screwdrivers for the rifle.

Well, maybe ONE screwdriver (a small one) for the Marlin. To get less would be a travesty. Any collector would trade his sainted mother for a complete set of customized JJ screwdrivers!
