Cedar Hat Stretcher
Head expanding from winning too many matches? Bought a hat a size too small? How about your head is oval and your hat isn't? I found a source for hand made All Cedar Hat Stretchers. 1 stretcher $20, shipping included. 2nd stretcher $15. Any interest, e-mail and I'll put in an order. I bought one and installed it in a new Stetson after I steamed it and it made it more of a long oval than round. Fits about a 6 1/2 to a 9. Cedar supposedly repels some hat eating insects. If you just want your hat more oval than round, install in the hat and "hand tighten". Leave it installed whenever you're not wearing the hat. If you're trying to expand it, steam it and install while wet, again, "hand tighten". You can break a sweat band loose. If you have a tight hat band, loosen it. QUESTION, Should these be in the TOOL category and be restricted to certain not to be named individuals??? Dice, I'll drop yours off at your house.

I got the hat strecher today thanks a lot it is great appreciated I wil be able to enlarge my hat as the season goes allong. <br />
