Even a man of the cloth doesn't have all the answers...

A puzzle from friar jim
Dearest Friends:
I am writing to you to ask for your help in shedding light on a perplexing situation I find myself contemplating.

I have selected you as a group to aid me because you have known me for a number of years and I value your opinion. Your religious experiences are varied and that is important to the problem with which I am faced.

Over the years, we have all observed the seemingly random factors that affect all of our lives, sometimes without apparent rhyme or reason. We have seen some marriages dissolve over nothing, and others grow stronger under adverse conditions. We have seen fate play a role in who survives critical illnesses and who succumbs to them. We have all seen good people
suffer great misfortunes while some people of low character thrive. In our lifetime, we have seen Churches and Religious institutions all around the world become revised, televised, energized and even scandalized. We are all well aware that a higher power has control of nearly all things.

Personally, I have stood in the doorway of a 7/11, amid a shootout between the police and a gunman, and walked away unscathed. On a golf course, I saw a lightning bolt strike a man dead while those of us nearby where untouched.
We all watched as Hurricane Katrina ravaged some areas of the coast and left other nearby homes standing intact.

The enormity of these random and seemingly unfair applications of good or bad fortune is at the core of my dilemma. Over the years I have studied sacred writings of all major religions, and recently I have reviewed many of these great books searching for an answer. Alas, I have been unable to fathom the following, and now I pose the question to you......
?
?
Why would the highest power in this universe take Anna Nicole from us and leave Hillary behind?

You wax so eloquently over the deep, dark mysteries of the Universe that my heart trembles at the very idea of my understanding one freaking morsel of it.
Ya see, even God has a sense of humor! Case in point.

Last year a young priest went to his bishop and asked about an intrepitation on the rising of Our Lord Jesus Christ at Easter. Strangly, the Bishop could not field the younger mans question. In their discussion, the Bishop revealed to the young man that this version had been transposed from the origionals, now kept in the heart of the Vatician, and that no one hed actually handled them in centuries.

So the Young priest went to the Vatician and recieved permission to read the very old, original texts of the bible. Each day, he would decend into the vaults, read for many hours, and then, later that evening, meet with the pope to discuss what he had found. This went on for two weeks, then one evening, the young priest missed his appointment with the Pope. Even the next morning, the young priest had not been seen.

the Pope, fearing for the young man's safety, lead a party down into the vaults. They found the young priest sitting on the floor, one text open before him, crying. "My Son." Said the Pope. "what is the matter, are you hurt or ill?"

the young Priest turned to the Pope and answered. "Holy Father, they got it wrong---the word is Celibrate, not Celabit!"
