That's a wrap! Thanks for a great season. See you all next year!

We should be shooting 2nd Saturday and 4th Sunday again next year.

Final schedule to be finalized in February.

Intresting Report from Winter Range

Expect this at EOT as well
Howdy Folks,

Just thought I might pass this along, in case anyone is headed to EOT this year.

On the TG SASS wire, Manatee--a TG and gunsmith who is a vendor at most big SASS matches, --Reports that WR has stages set up with calibrated Knock Downs for both pistol and rifle. Yesterday was practice day (as well as side match day at WR. Manatee reports that the pistol KD's are calibrated for 38's. He shoot with the Evil Roy familay, and reported that they had no problems dropping the KD's. However, he also reported that Several other shooters, shooting light loads, could not drop them. Also, in the Main Match, he reports there will be no picking up undropped targets, you'll take the miss!

So, if your headed to EOT, best keep this in mind. Over two months ago SASS HQ informed me that this would be happening at both WR and EOT this year. Looks like they meant it, so be advised.

More info from WR, via the helpful Sea Cow--Manatee! After the first day of shooting, things are a slight bit slower then normal. Seems that times in the teens and twenty's are rare, he reports good times for stages are in the high 30's and low forties. He credits this to the need to actually aim at the KD targets.

Also, he reports that the TG meeting was of great instrest. Seems the Wild Bunch let them know, in no uncertain terms, that something WILL be done about the downward spiral in loads.
They still want the TG's input, but now have said, by the end of 2007, something will be done about it. They did not say what, but chances are, they(The Wild Bunch) are not sure of exactly what the correct course is yet either.

we'll keep you informed.
