Until we hear it from the horse's mouth I would not be loading up the shooting cart and heading over there. <br />
<br />
I also have heard rumors, but I heard that it still has to be worked out in a court room. My understanding is that the village says they have authority and they don't want the shooting. The county says they have jurisdiction and they don't have a problem with the shoots. The village has tried to say they have jurisdiction in other matters when they don't and have been in disagreement with the county in the past. Hopefully the court will find for the county and we win.<br />

Again, my information is third hand and it would indicate a possible start of the season in May or June. Don't know if it's the club or the county that is persuing it in the legal system. I hope that I'm wrong and it has already been settled.<br />

In any event I would think that Stoney Mike and/or Rock River Ted will or would contact DD to have him post the news as soon as it is written in stone.

I don't know any more at this point than what has been posted above. I sure do hope they can get back to shooting this year. They put on a nice match.<br />

According to the newsletter I just received through the mail today, Beloit is almost ready to have cowboy shoots again.<br />
