That's a wrap! Thanks for a great season. See you all next year!

We should be shooting 2nd Saturday and 4th Sunday again next year.

Final schedule to be finalized in February.

May Match Results

Hello and welcome back to the Good Guys Posse 2007 shooting season! I would like to apologize for getting these up so late, but, things were rather hectic this afternoon. Plus I had to retrain myself on how to do this.<br />
<br />
Next a big Thank You to all for coming out in such uncertain weather to support our shoot and be part of the largest single day group to shoot at GGP.<br />
<br />
Now to the important stuff. Below are the results ready for your review. Just click on them and see how you did. Any problems, let me know and I'll see where I goofed.<br />

  • Wow SK, you get a gold star for gettin er done and posted so fast! I swung by to say that you Pards had a fun match today and was suprised to see the scores done. Again, great job to all and thanks. I also have to say posse 5 had some fine shooters getting clean matches! One was Morgan Danials <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/2gunsfiring_v1.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':2gunsfiring_v1:' /> he didn't hold back and shot his first clean match!!!!!

    We had a wonderful time! Kidd Casey had a clean shoot, and I'm slowly climbing up the ladder. Can't wait till next week. Dakota Rose <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/gunfighter.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':gunfighter:' />
  • It was a great match. The Good Guys Posse really has it together. Every stage supported a Gunfighter.<br />

    Faster than a speeding bullet. Way to go!! I'd give you more compliments but I don't want your head to get to big. I'm afraid the new hat won't fit. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/innocent.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':innocent:' />
  • Thanks to all in the GGP for making this a great first time shoot for me. A special "thank ya' kindly" to Johnny Popper. Without his help I would not have been able to shoot at all.<br />
    <br />
    Also a shout out to Huckleberry, Pair-A-Dice, Morgan Daniels, Elkhorn Ernie, Arizona and the others in the Posse I shot with.<br />

    Again, I apologize for our lack of organization on the first shoot. Without DD's guiding hand I didn't get it done as well. Forgot some of the announcements (like the fact that this year we'll have your awards waiting for you at the next shoot or mail all of them out at year end like the other shoots). The preshoot raffle was my screw up also and again I apologize for that, but we'll have twice as much to give away in June. By the time I found any of the prizes and received further stuff for give aways we hadn't been giving out the tickets at check in as we didn't think we had the prizes to give away. The trail boss would have handled it better. So whatever was wrong for the first shoot, I get the credit. What ever went right would be the rest of the rough riders. <br />
    <br />
    At least our check in and scoring system stills seems to be running without any hitches. <br />

    Thanks to all who came out with the weather forecast that we had. With the exception of the two day shoot in August last year (ain't that the one where my wife did the cooking?) we had more shooters yesterday than in all the two day shoots last year. Thanks again!

    I am impressed. Having done scores for Bristol for 3 years, I know how much work is involved in scoring. GOOD JOB.<br />

  • Great shoot.<br />

    I had a ball shooting GF. <br />
    <br />
    Thanks to my posse members who did not say anything about the time out they had when I shot.<br />
    Great food too. Thanks DP.<br />
    <br />
    One more thing. I came in 3rd place as GF........ of course there were only 3 pards shooting GF. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/2gunsfiring_v1.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':2gunsfiring_v1:' /> <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/usabig.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':usabig:' /> <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/gunfighter.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':gunfighter:' />

    Hey, BSM. You win places however you can. You recollect the one about how the Soviet Union and the US had a car race and the US won. It was reported in Pravda that the Soviets came in second, while the Americans came in second to last! Anyway, welcome to GF class. It's a gas to shoot.

    Thank you Sir.<br />

    I'll take it any time. First time shooting GF is a lot of fun... but not easy.

    It's all a head game, BSM. Once you've tried it, you find that thinking it through, kind of like a dance step, helps keep you on track in the match. It also helps keep you focused on shooting. Personally I am a little surprised that more people don't shoot GF. Once in a while you find that it is kind of a pain - as in the stage where you had to shoot double duelist. But that, too, can be overcome. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cowboy1.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':cowboy1:' />
