That's a wrap! Thanks for a great season. See you all next year!

We should be shooting 2nd Saturday and 4th Sunday again next year.

Final schedule to be finalized in February.

A Little Help ain't a Bad Thing...

Beloit & Bristol
While I ain't sure of the exact times, I believe that Beloit is working the second Saturday between their two shoots every month (starting around 9AM?). I would check there web site and believe that they also work the set up Friday afternoon starting after 3:30 PM before each Saturday shoot. If they're willing to put on a second shoot for us, it would be nice if some of us could show up to help out.

As for Bristol, I believe that they set up Saturday morning and then do a shoot that same day. So if you have the time to help out on the Saturday before their normal Sunday shoot, it would give you the opportunity to shoot both days and be a "Gamer" on Sunday with the practice from the previous day.

Seriously though, with the hot summer weather and trying to run two shoots a month it can get to be a chore. So even if you can only help out once or twice during the season, I'm sure it will be appreciated. The tear down at Bristol yesterday had to be BRUTAL in that heat. So let's check the web sites and give a hand where ever you shoot and are able to assist. Some of us with the titanium and ceramics in our bodies like to use that for an excuse, but we'll still try and get out there, so join in the fun of learning what it takes to help set up a match.

 • Thank you Jim for the post, I would also like to thank all who braved the hot weather for our shoot Sat, It was hot that's for sure.
As for work days, the Friday before each shoot at 4pm we meet to go over the stages and paint tafgets and move whatever steel needs to be moved. The real work usually takes place the Second Sat of the month, Between our matches. This is where all the nails and screws get driven and plans are made. My assistant Belwah Bill's son Bobby gets out the grill and fixes us one heck of a lunch. This makes the work a little more palatable anyway. I'm no slave driver by any means, But I sure could use some help.
If anyone thinks they can make it let me know so we have enough food to feed ya, I would hate to make a promise and fail you.

Thank you and hope to see ya'll real soon, ( I'm from a little farther south than Wisconsin, I can say "ya'll")
Regards,
