Your going to make your own rig and you most naturally need leather. So what type of leather do you buy. Veg. tanned or chrome tanned. Also, does it matter if the holsters are going to be linned or not linned. <br />

If I knew my leather was tanned in broccoli or eggplant, I think I'd puke!<br />

Seriously, I have some very nice buffalo hide draw-string bags I picked up at a western show. I made the mistake of using them as covers for the sights on my Ballard. One of the leather strings on the bag got against the case-color frame of the Ballard and removed a strip of that beautiful bone & charcoal case color. If you don't know how it was tanned, be careful!<br />

Why would you make your own when you got Tooth to do it for you? Oh Yeah, if you need it sooner than two years wait. Saying that was probably a mistake, seeing as how I oredered a new belt for my daughter now that she's going to be switching to twelve gauge. <br />

Remember that the belt is for her and not her smart mouth old man. OKAY TOOTH???

I bought a pair of (I thought) very nice boots in Juarez, Mexico. Until they got wet, that is. They use horse drippings instead of camel drippings. What a stench!<br />
