Just got in from a small gathering in Janesville.<br />

Thanks to all who wrote or supported the nomination. I believe that Wyatt was and is definitely deserving. I on the other hand am possibly the exception that proves the rule that the others who have received the award are deserving. Try to do what I think should be done and appreciate working with all of the good members of our posse and also those of the other clubs in southern WI and northern IL.<br />

Was surprised tonight as I was told that the little get together was for Wyatt and they told Wyatt the same about me. Suckered us both, but really the surprise is really there because you don't believe you will ever be nominated for or receive the badge. I'll try to wear it with pride and not be such a screw up. But as I told the boys tonight, you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Maybe now they'll let me play with screw drivers again.
