Latest work on the new range!

We spent the day at Dry Gulch Ranch getting the range ready. Huckleberry operated the dozer we rented and did a fine job touching up the entrance road, digging out our shooting bays and building a berm between the stages and the parking lot. Thanks so much Huck! You'll never pay to shoot our matches ever again!<br />

You'll find photos of the day's work on the photo site under "Building the new range" and "Day 1 - berm building." Today, Huck managed to get about half-way through the work even though the machine was giving him some trouble. We'll be out there again tomorrow to hopefully finish all the heavy work. We hope to be moving our stuff out on the 26th and then we'll be asking for help from the posse to get things in shape.<br />

Huck is one cowboy who personifies the cowboy way. He is honest, sincere and will always tell you the truth no matter what the circumstances. Nice work Huck! The place is really taking shape. I have to say though that Huck did much more than just drive the machine. I could drive it but he is definitely an Operator. Can't wait to see the finished product.<br />

Well, we got rained out today (Tuesday) and couldn't finish the berm work. But Huck managed to get us a bigger dozer for the same price and it has already been delivered. So, bright and early tomorrow we'll be back at it!<br />

I guess the Posse is getting pretty good at this range building stuff!<br />
