What DD neglected to mention was the fact that I left around noon because I had a jewelry appointment. They did more after I left then is believable. I can't wait for the pictures and there is no way we will ever be able to thank Huck enough. With his involvement at Bristol it is really above and beyond to do all he has done for us.
My understanding is that there might be a work day called for the 26th of August where the entire posse can come out and help us put the finishing touches on the range. If that date holds it will be the opportunity for everyone to see the new range and it will be the fourth Sunday that we will be shooting when we start up in September. Hope to get two shoots in yet this year and our first full season at the new range next year. From my prospective this will be the premier range for all of northern IL and southern WI. (but then I'm some what opinionated). There really isn't any way to appreciate the change and amount that has already been done to put it in the condition it's in at this time.
LongtoothRode hard and put away wet one to many times
All I can say is Wow!!!!! What a great job you guys did. Can't wait to see it in person. Put some targets up and lets go. It amazing when you set a goal and then stand back and see the finished product. Talent doesn't seem to be lacking in this Posse. Congratulations. Wish I could have been a part of it. JJ is right this will be a premier shooting range. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/clapping.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':clapping:' />
Guys,

You are truely doing a GREAT job. The pictures are impressive, and the progress is amazing. To go from having a range and scheduled shooting season to having no range to having a range again in a few months is unbelievable.

I agree, Huck has gone above and beyond - a real example of the Cowboy Spirit.

Just let me know if there is anything that I can do to help.

Keep up the good work.
The photos are uploading now but it will take close to an hour. Be sure you read the captions as they will keep you informed on what we did. Because the area behind the firing line may not be deep enough for two-way gun cart traffic, we built an upper pathway we call "Huck's Pass" for gun cart traffic returning from stage 6 to stage one. This will also be a prime spot for spectators to view the festivities - we'll have some benches there.
I'm beat. Once I get the photos posted, I'm going to crash!
