That's a wrap! Thanks for a great season. See you all next year!

We should be shooting 2nd Saturday and 4th Sunday again next year.

Final schedule to be finalized in February.

The Cowboy Way is Alive and Well!

dddd Gnome, gnome on the range!
I never cease to be amazed by the members of the Good Guys Posse with their boundless generosity and energy. When we announced that we were building a new range, many folks have posted here and contacted me offering their services and support. Folks have sent us much-needed funds, offered building materials and expertise, while many are ready to help out when we have a work party. And, believe me, we welcome it all!

Building a new range from scratch can be a daunting and expensive task but it is folks like you who make it all possible and worthwhile. The photos I've posted on the photo site are a testament to the willingness of the Rough Riders and others who've worked hard to get us this far along in such a short time. Huck spent two long days out there in the rain operating the dozer and got us a pretty good deal on the rental, too (he speaks the language!). We've had folks donate items to auction off. JJ, Asleep and others have accomplished a great deal clearing the area, trimming and making the site look nice. Saguaro Kid borrowed a flatbed semi with a forklift to help us move our range equipment. Longtooth & Dastardly Dan struggled for many hours to get our trailer in place. Others have been working "behind the scenes" doing all the necessary things we need to put the new range in place. There are many others - you know who you are - who also deserve our gratitude for what they have done. There is insurance, legal matters, paperwork - it never seems to end. But because of the devotion of the members of the Good Guys Posse, it is all coming together.
The Cowboy Way is not dead; it is alive and well among the members of the Good Guys Posse!
• Yes it's the cowboy way and to bad this whole world would or could go back to the cowboy way. You Pards haven't seen how hard and how much planning has gone into this range so far and to hear the future plans, and all I have heard about making this a real Cowboy town with the feel of the old west, will be great! It started out as a simple wooded valley and with Sleepy who had back surgery and young men like JJ,TK and DD,all chain sawing and totin and rakin up trees ... cleared out a range area. They have some great ideas for this range and I was happy to help them and my pards who one day will enjoy the range. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/gunfighter.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':gunfighter:' /> Good job GGP members in whatever way you can help.
