That's a wrap! Thanks for a great season. See you all next year!
We should be shooting 2nd Saturday and 4th Sunday again next year.
Final schedule to be finalized in February.
Taking today and tomorrow off to try and recuperate and catch up with things around the house. We'll be back out there on WEDNESDAY and hope to start erecting the last stage of steel. If all goes well we'll get the last of the shielding up and have the bank erected by the end of the next week end. This will mean that the only thing left is the general work of general lay out and final raking and clean up of the area (you know, what would have been the "normal" set up had the range not been a whole new endeavor from scratch).

We're in the home stretch and I now look forward to our first shoot out there with confidence in the fact that it will be safe and give us many seasons of service.
Kind of nice the way we've been scheduling the rain for our days off. But we have been the master schedulers regarding this whole project over the last two months. Did I say two months? Yes, that's how long we've been at this already folks. Truly a labor of love that I think some might have thought we would never complete, thus providing all the more incentive to "GET IT DONE." Thanks again to all who have added their time and efforts to the project thus far.

Perhaps some folks don't realize what this project has entailed over those two months. Five or six days a week, JJ & Asleep have put in 6-7 hours a day of hard labor with an hour and a half drive at each end. I know many others have contributed their time and effort too, but these two have gone far beyond the call of duty. I wish there were some way we could partially pay them back but I know they did it for the sport of cowboy shooting and the Good Guys Posse. Truly a fine example of the Cowboy Way and the Spirit of the Game.
As they say, "When the going gets tough, the tough get going"!
Manys thanks to both of you!!
And for all that, I sincerely hope that heartfelt thanks from me, and many others will express to you our admiration and reverence. What a performance!

Hmm... Sounds like an oxymoron to me.
