I didn't make it to the range today as I'm sitting here at the car dealer waiting on a new set of brakes. But the usual suspects are out there working to get things ready for our first match. Most of the safety and functional items are complete. The shooting, loading tables and splatter shields are set up and Big grit will be setting up targets soon. What largely remains are a number of "little" things that will serve to make a more pleasant atmosphere.<br />

Changes are coming rapidly now, folks, and we are almost ready for FUN time!!<br />

Back home a little earlier today. Everything in front of the shooting line is raked well enough to be safe. Will revisit it again next spring. Finished raking Huck's pass and laid out a belt walkway. A little left to do with the stage facades on five and six but should not be a problem. What DD said.<br />

But I must put out a request for something. In our haste to recover our goods and move it all from the old range we did not take all of the carpeting that belonged to us. We took a small amount, but not near enough to cover the tables at our first shoot. So...<br />

WE NEED CARPET FOR THE LOADING/UNLOADING AND SHOOTING TABLES. We will be looking around between now and the first shoot to try and get some, but if anybody has any or knows where to get those carpet sample squares, we are in need. Unfortunately when you spend most everyday at the range you don't have much time to spend looking for any of the little things that we will need before the first shoot like the carpeting and frankly I had forgot that we still needed any.<br />

Just talked to Holy Ole and guess what? WE GOT CARPET Just let me know what size you want the pieces. It won't be the samples like we had before. It's left overs from jobs that can be cut to size.<br />

I'll try to remember to measure the tables when I go out. That would be great, just one piece per table. Dice said he was going to try and get some samples and I'm certain we can use both - extra won't hurt.

Just talked to Holy Ole and he has made up enough pieces to cover the loading tables. He seamed together a bunch of samples so they are multicolored. Doesn't have enough to take care of the loading and unloading tables though. So, Jack's contribution will help a bunch. Thanks again Jack!<br />
