I'm thinking of making a Buffalo hide coat this winter. Is this a good starter project? Would I need very many tools? If I shoot it can I tan it myself?<br />

Jeez, SK! ?What you complainin' about. You wait for the snow, lay down in it and make a windmill, cut out two pieces of your buffalo hide that you be shootin', then sew the edges, leavin' open a part for your arms, head and bottom. Then you cut a straigh line in the middle of the "front" one and loop some rawhide strips through to tie. It snowed this morning! I went out and made the Snow Angel, now does anybody know how to attract a Buffalo so I can lay him down on the pattern. Dev, you might know, Tooth sure hasn't been much of a help even though he started the topic.<br />
