Turkey Leggs,In all fairnes to Muddy,and the cowboy& cowgirl way,Your guns were in the way,That table was a loading & unloading table,and your guns should have been removed.I take the blame for that as i was working the loading table,and should have asked you to do so.Sorry,no hard feelings,I still love ya, Wyatt
Wyatt, in all fairness to Turkey Legs, I have to say that the people ahead of us were taking up most of the table and Turkey Legs left her guns there to make a point; point being leave enough room for the other people to be able to come and unload their weapons. Her guns were at the mid point of the table. There doesn't have to be three people loading; its loading, in the hole and in the deep hole (which is waiting to go to the table). Sorry, Turkey Legs and I are to blame for the guns being left on the table.

I must politely disagree with you Ug. We had only two people at the table loading for the next stage and even they were pressed for space. The stage was a fairly quick one so even those loading in the deep hole had to hurry to be ready to take the firing line. Being in the deep hole, that was why I came to the table when I did, otherwise I normally don't. TL's guns were left there even tho she had already shot, had unloaded, and was timing, I believe. Everyone, regardless of the situation, after completing the shooting portion of the stage should have their guns checked and unloaded and then put them back in their gun cart. Those tables are a bit small just to handle both unload and reload let alone have an additional set of guns in the middle of the table and it created a bit of a problem.

Never knew that this was going on, but, I have to agree with Wyatt. There is no need to "make a point" in a situation such as this. At the safety meeting Dangerous Denny always has all the Rough Riders raise their hands and states if there are any problems see one of the Rough Riders. Well, there were plenty of them on both posses so why not take it to one of them rather than "make a point"? If nobody knows what the "point" is then it's not being made.<br />

You see this is one reason I don't usually post - I post something innocent - "Like I loved the shoot" and got a nice reply from DD and MGS (the first one). Know I come back on after a few days and see these added comments. I guess the cowboy way would have been to send me a pm - not place it on the forum - if you had an issue with me. <br />

Everyone see's things differently in life. So let's look at it from my perspective (b/c my character is at stack and I feel like I am in the old west where I have to defend myself):<br />
<br />
1. Was it crowed - YES<br />
2. Did I have to stand next to the fence - holding my guns after shooting - to wait for the bench to be cleard b/c there were 4 people loading - YES<br />
3. Did I mention it to a rough rider - YES<br />
4. Did I apologize to MGS at the next stage - for my out of character move - YES<br />
5. Do I know the rules - YES<br />
6. Do I still love to shoot, have a good time, and meet people for good converstation - YES - oops this word should be "PRICELESS"<br />

Thanks for your post. I believe you hit the old nail on the head with #6 "Do I still love to shoot, have a good time, and meet people for good converstation - YES - oops this word should be "PRICELESS". That is why most of us love this sport and I hope we can all continue to shoot together and have fun (and a little good-natured teasing!).<br />

I'm not quite certain what happened, but rest assured that as we build our "western town" along the firing line, we'll be integrating longer tables into the design. Hopefully, that will ease any congestion at the tables. <br />
