That's a wrap! Thanks for a great season. See you all next year!

We should be shooting 2nd Saturday and 4th Sunday again next year.

Final schedule to be finalized in February.

My Two Cents Worth

I have reached the end of my first season of Cowboy Shooting and I feel like I need flap my gums a bit.

I showed up at my first shoot ever at the beginning of the year and was completely taken in. I did not have everything I needed to shoot (duh) but that didn't stop the Good Guys. Johnny Popper lent me the equipment that I needed to shoot that first day. I sought out someone in charge I think it was Dangerous Denny, the only person I knew was Johnny Popper, and gave him my money to become a member right then and there. But the thing that made me sure that I was in with the right group of guys was the fact that when they learned that there may be no more shoots this year and that they were unsure of what direction the GGP would take, I received a phone call. Jeweler Jim called and told me what the basic situation was and asked if I wanted my money back. I was stunned. Talk about doing things the Cowboy Way. I knew right then that I had to be a part of this group.

Fast forward to October (by the way I now have my own stuff to shoot with) and I learned that my instincts were right, hey there's a first for everything <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> . I can honestly say that I have never met nor worked with a better bunch of guys in anything I've done. The selfless way that this group does things for others is incredible.
I know that you guys won't like it but, the afore mentioned Johnny Popper, Jeweler Jim, Dangerous Denny, Asleep At The Wheel, Push The Button Wyatt, Pair-A-Dice, Longtooth, Big Grit, Dirt Pyle, Shamrock THANK YOU for letting me be one of the guys. It is an honor to know each and every one of you.
