Floyd Hanson, the gunsmith, approached me today and asked to be one of our sponsors. Floyd will be donating some items for our drawings and he will be setting up his table out at our shoots, just as he does at Sycamore. Floyd will be happy to fix any of your equipment that breaks during the match, so you can continue with the shoot. <br />

I certainly don't want to slight Huck and his work by any means, but before I knew Huck did any work I had Floyd do my Yellow Boy and pistols. Couldn't be happier with the work and he has solved all the problems with those little lightning pistols by hardening the hammers. If anybody wants to try any of the guns that he's worked for me I'd be happy to let you try them. In fact a number of shooters have used them for complete shoots and been real happy with them also. <br />

Don't judge by how I handle the guns or what I say, try em out at any shoot you see me at.<br />
<br />
Speaking of gun smiths, has anyone heard how Spur did after his heart attack last year? There's another good man for Marlins.

Floyd has done the work on almost every gun I own. I recommend him highly. He takes the time to get them right. He did an especially good job of making a pair of lightnings I have right. I bought them from a Cimarron dealer with action jobs already completed. They stopped working after a couple of hundred rounds and had many misfires (light hits). He worked them over and we've never had a problem since. Really smooth. Same for a rock crusher action on a Rossi that is now smooth as silk.<br />

Sure I'll supply the ammo! You guys will get to shoot some of my special loads. If some occasionally go "pop" instead of "bang" I'm sure you'll understand, what with the new power factors and all.
