That's a wrap! Thanks for a great season. See you all next year!
We should be shooting 2nd Saturday and 4th Sunday again next year.
Final schedule to be finalized in February.
Back from today's auction...

I've been a very bad boy...
GUN AUCTION AT DONNELY'S WILD WEST TOWN (yesterday and today)

I just bought mama a new microwave/convection oven, so that justifies what I did at the auction today.

I think I might have bid myself up on one of the guns I bought today. I am a dummy. Exceeded my limits and then because I was filling out paperwork (4473) for a gun I purchased I missed bidding on a Uberti 1873 stallion that went for $200.00.

Most of what I wanted got bid up and some of what I didn't want went cheap. Got tired of waiting so I gave them three absentee bids and left. So I might still be buying guns as I type this.

I let you know if I got any of the other bids accepted after they call me back in the next couple of days.
Just talked with the auction house and the only thing that I got was the pistol and the stuff I bought Saturday (primers).
Yes, yes I was #20. But the auctioneer has already assured me that no amount of trying to cause trouble (by the "riff raff" that were with me on Saturday) would be possible. He realized that the lower element that had been around me the first day was to be ignored and I was not to be held responsible for any of their actions.

Had you shown up Sunday perhaps we could have picked up the Uberti for $225. Better to be gainfully busy with the pictures and new site for all our pics. With your and Asleep's help I'm sure I could have spend another couple thousand. You two are a very bad influence and mama might not let me play with you two anymore if you don't straiten up.
Let us call an auditing firm to have them check the spelling in my posts. The viability of the free world depends on it.

The story of my life! You will not be the first, nor even among the first dozen, who are not allowed to play with me any more. The first was when I burned up a friend's mother's new kitchen set making home-made black powder on it. Made quite the mess. The still I built out of a pressure cooker made quite a mess, too. Maybe I should take your advice and clean up my act. But that wouldn't be much fun now, would it?
Like blowing up one of the boys bath rooms in high school. Never was much good at understanding physics & chemistry.
Perhaps I knew too much physics and chemistry. But the trinitroiodide on the terrazzo floors in high school was a real giggle. Probably get me 5-10 these days. Fortunately, I seldom got caught and never did for the serious stuff. Millie always said I was too hard on the kids because I feared they'd try what I did.
I used mostly used the ready made stuff as a kid.
