That's a wrap! Thanks for a great season. See you all next year!

We should be shooting 2nd Saturday and 4th Sunday again next year.

Final schedule to be finalized in February.

Enforcement of Rules

UglyUgly Gunfighter With Way too Much Free Time
<div class="IPBDescription">Line in the sand and how far can it be crossed</div>Now, just for the sake of argument, if I happen to win my class at a match and somebody complains that I have illegal mod on the guns that I have been using and they raise a stink about it:<br />
<br />
Who judges what is right and what is wrong?<br />
<br />
Who touches my guns (no one without my permission)?<br />
<br />
What if someone is doing that just to be a d**k?<br />
<br />
Is money put up for each complaint?<br />
<br />
Do I get the money for the aggravation and for having my weapons touched ('cause I know my <br />
equipment is legal)?<br />
<br />
If someone complains just to complain (who would do such a thing?) will they be banned or charged <br />
more for the trouble they cause?
<br />
<br />
A lot of this is going to happen and will have to be addressed.<br />
<br />
I want to know what my rights as an accused will be: can I pass judgement of some kind or a fine on a false accuser?<br />
<br />
Enquiring minds want to know. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/innocent.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':innocent:' />

    We'll just give you KP duty for a match or two!! <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/devil.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':devil:' /> <br />

    In all seriousness, it is way too early to start speculating how any of this will occur. I see a lot of overreaction on the SASS wire and here on the Hitching Post. At the local level, we have a lot of latitude in what we choose to allow and I won't be pushing for strict compliance immediately if it does pass. I know folks will do their best to comply and we'll cut them some slack until we see how it all shakes out. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rolleyes:' />

    Like Denny said, It's to early to know if this will be adopted or not.<br />
    <br />
    If it is, the enforcement of the new MOds rules will fall to the Major Match Directors and Range Masters.<br />
    Now, as of the TG Meeting, rules regulating who can protest are now in place. The Shooter may protest a call made against them, but no one else can protest calls, or non calls. There is also the question of Home rule that will enter into play here.<br />
    <br />
    All Matchs, both major and local have the right to use home rules---AS LONG AS THOSE RULES ARE ANNOUNCED, to all shooters at the match. Don't be suprized if some matchs choice to exercize that right in the near future.<br />
    <br />
    As to how enforcement will go, we'll have to wait and see. It's my belief that fee's, just like protest fees will be put in place. I also think they will be high enough (in dollars) to discourage anyone from ytrying to use the rules to throw off a competitors game. <br />
    <br />
    that is, if this gets excepted. Being that it is a RULE Change--it will take a Super Majority vote for exceptance (2/3's or greator) according to current SASS rules.
