I'll be looking for it. I usually don't get my copy until the second week of the month. <br />
<br />
As far as the pictures, DD would be responsible for any of those.
I'm going to have to talk to Filthy Harry about this - I always seem to be about two stops past the last stage coach stop when it comes to mail delivery. I ALWAYS get my mail a day or two later than anyone else.<br />
<br />
Congrats, JJ!
I'm on it Dev, I'll send you JJ's as soon as I pass it around the office. By the way, did anyone check his article for spelling?
<br /> I believe that Coot has already been awarded the MGS spell check title and harass jj as a side job. So let's not be trying to muscle in on his range unless you think the job's to big for him to handle. <br />
<br />
Besides, it was my understanding that to work for the PO you have to be illiterate.
Speaking about reading, ciphering and such, I believe that we're up to a hundred eighteen badge carrying members and about one hundred ninety members on the web site. <br />
<br />
Quite a few when you consider that we started with less than a dozen.
Let's not be changing the subject, there, JJ. Yes, Coot has the OFFICIAL spell check position previously occupied by no less than MGS, BUT that doesn't mean that other members of the posse (as in Filthy Harry) can't pipe up and raise questions "inquiring minds want to know." I do believe his point was valid. He is, after all, going to pass your copy around the office, and since most members of the PO can't read (at least addresses - altogether different from reading "light reading" such as your description of range building) he is rightfully worried they will be exposed to incorrect spelling and think it correct and thereby solidify mistakes in an otherwise exemplary Federal organization.
<img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cowboy1.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':cowboy1:' /> Just so you know, JJ did not give me an advance copy to proof for him. I am a little worried because the GGP's reputation is at stake. I am not concerned about my reputation, nor for that matter JJ's as I am sure you all know our's was shot to hell (literally) by associating with certain people who shall remain nameless, for the time being.
Excellent article! Read it last night right before I said good night to Pike's Peak. Seriously, very well written and I didn't see any spelling or grammatical errors. Now, JJ, in your previous message you misused the word to for too. Ask Leadfoot Lizzie to spell check for you as she is partly edgycated...<br />
<br />
It's great to hear of the notoriety of the GGP. I wear my badge to the shoots here in CO and am asked frequently about it. Am proud to wear it and tell all with whom I interact what a great bunch of members belong to the GGP (with a couple of exceptions --- "y'all" and that damn Irishman...). I'll miss shooting with you guys at Dry Gulch Ranch. However, if anybody is getting out Colorado way this year, let me know you are coming. There is a shoot the first three Saturdays of the month mostly year round within a short drive from Colorado Springs. Some of the venues are really cool. I'll take some pics one of these days and send them to DD.<br />
<br />
I note by the clicking time at the top of the page, you've only got to wait another 24 days and a few hours... Guess I am very lucky. I get to shoot this Saturday with the Colorado Cowboys on a private working ranch. Six stages all set as an old west town. Targets are big and close (per the article in The Cowboy Chronicle) and stages ae great fun. <br />
<br />
Got to get back to work. Everybody take care.

We started at a crawl then a walk and now it looks like we be a running. Our government should run so efficiently.

I'm still waiting for my copy of the Chronicle. I'm thinking that it probably was printed without any major changes to the article, but the nice thing as I understand it is was that it was printed on two consecutive pages so it wasn't broken up or have any page flipping to read the article.<br />
<br />
THANK YOU Cat!
THE PONY EXPRESS FINALLY ARRIVED!!!!!!! Altough to be fair I believe the Pony Express would likely have been quicker.<br />
<br />
JJ, the article was very well done, Thank You. I must concur with what others have said, it makes me proud to belong to the GGP.
Mine came today, too. Now that I have my own copy and could read it at leisure, I must say you did a fine job, JJ.<br />
<br />
The strange thing was I found a note in my Chronicle. It said, "Ha, Ha, Ha!" and was signed, "Filthy Harry." Hmmm....

And finally the state of IL DOC sent me my "actual physical duck stamp." They did away with the stamps a few years ago and have been issuing just receipts for the purchase. But people like me are still able to go through a bunch of hassle and come up with the actual stamp. I have them going back to the first one in 1975. I Hope they keep issuing the actual stamp even if you do have to wait over eight months to get it. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rolleyes:' /> <br />
