Gnome, gnome on the range!
Yep, Jeweler Jim is back from his shoulder surgery. Seems to be doing well, but ornery as ever. They've got him on the goofy juice so he's not feeling much. Will probably be a few months before he's able to shoot again but he'll be back on the firing line as soon as he can.<br />

As you can see by the hour of this post the "block" that they put in the shoulder has worn off. So now it's down to just the pills. It's still much better than the last time I had this done. Didn't sleep for three days that time, but I might just get in a nap after I take the next pain meds at 1AM. <br />

Should be good enough to take everybody's money at the check in for our next shoot, but beyond that I don't think I'll be doing much. Apparently it was messed up bad enough to keep the sturgeon at it for two hours rather than the normal half hour to an hour that they spend doing the job. I wonder if I'll get charged extra for the additional time he spent digging around in the shoulder?

Then the fun begins... I have to be impaired at this point or I wouldn't be on the web site and posting. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':crazy:' /> <br />

Boredom is not the emotion you expect after this surgery. Just wish I could get in the shower cause I'm starting to smell like a goat.

There's this sticky stuff called Tegaderm that you can buy at those hospital supply stores. It's a clear film that ya sticks right over yer wound, or yer sutures, or whatever ya got. Keeps the water out real nice like, and peels off clean without no pain. Add a loofa on a stick and ya can even get places where tha sun don't shine too often.. I started showering the day after my surgery...

Thanks Steve, I was gonna try the plastic food wrap and some of that clear packaging tape, but I'll send the wife out for some of the stuff you're talking about on Monday. She's already complaining that I'm getting a little ripe. <br />

By the way DD where did you hide the cameras to get my picture? Be glad you don't have smell-a-vision. And don't my blue eyes look pretty in the picture?
