Are there any long range matches in this area, where a Sharps would be fun to shoot? Not that I have one yet, 'cause I wouldn't know where I'd go to shoot it...

    how long range is long range? 100 yds? 200 yds? 500 yds? Then, of course, what about the rifle?

    300 for single shot, 200 for rifle caliber lever gun, 100 for pistol caliber, and 60 for pistols.<br />

    Make the next match and talk and watch the boys who participate. Should give you more answers than you get here and possible more places that shoot. They have other events during the month up there, so ask about those too. You might be able to start with some without buying a new rifle.
