I went under the knife on the 9th of July and after 3 1/2 hours of surgery I came out in ICU just in time to find out that Tony Snow died of colon cancer. That really made my night.<br />
Food was INCREDIBLE GOOD LOOKING BUT BAD, VERY BAD.<br />
I had the entire colon removed, but no bag to wear, which is great. No pain, no medication .... yet.<br />

Well on the 14th I came home and I'm trying to eat a little of mama's food and not to sleep that much.<br />
I can move around but not for to long.<br />

Thanks for updating us on your status. I'm approaching a dozen surgeries myself, but mostly replacement and rework of joints. Only had two organs cut out and thrown in the slop bucket as they say. <br />

I'm sure Mrs. Big Shooter Mike will take good care of you and have you up and around as good as new very quickly. Me I don't take too well to being taken care of. Drives the wife crazy as I just mostly want to be left to myself when I'm recuperating. Kinda like "Don't poke the bear."<br />
<br />
Let us know when we might come over and sneak you a cigar. Or have you sworn off them now? If "NO CIGARS!" then tell us what we might substitute for them.<br />
