Thanks to all who came out to shoot with us today - we had a good crowd. Grit had some interesting and fun stages. And the weather couldn't have been better, thanks to our weather officer, Old Blackhawk Creek Coot. <br />

Longdrink presented the Good Guys Posse with a beautiful, hand made wooden SASS Marshall in appreciation for the Posse's support during his and White Thunder's illnesses. A fine piece of work it is and I'll have photos of it posted tomorrow. I'll also be posting some photos of the match from Dakota Rose and some I took. But that's tomorrow, right now I'm just going to rest & let the pain meds start working!<br />

I second what DD said and hope that our new shooters come back and see us again and I will look for them at the other shoots. <br />

Also noticed that even after refilling the coolers with bottled water that at the end of the shoot it was all gone again. Please let one of the Rough Riders know when we run out so that we can do a better job of keeping the coolers full. Probably consider putting out a third cooler with just water instead of a mix. A big thanks to Johnny Popper for the snacks that he brought out to put on the soda/water table. I did however miss out on getting to try one of those long pretzels because my cigar was lit when I shot that stage. By the time I went looking for one after the match they were gone. <br />
<br />
The soda and the water are included in the price of the shoot and we don't want anyone to get dehydrated as the summer progresses we should all pay attention to that. So let's all watch out for each other in that regard. As I'm always a little squirrely, it is harder to tell when I might be in need of a "drink."

This was Moneychangers and Grunts first shoot, I must tell you that it was as much fun as you can have with your clothes on. We had a great time and look forward to next month. Everyone was friendly and wanted to help two new guys. I am going to take my meds now.<br />
