A big thank you!

Blue Moon & I wanted to extend a big "THANK YOU" to the whole Good Guys Posse and everyone we shot with. It has been a year since we have been able to shoot and it was, well, mighty fine to be back at it again! A special thanks to both Turkey Legs and George Emmet for coming to my rescue when we had a bullet malfunction (that is we either didn't bring enough - or had the absolute wrong ones with - you can get a little rusty when you don't shoot for a while). Again - good to be back and looking forward to more shoots!

Dastardly Dan had both his replaced at the same time a couple of years ago (for those that have forgotten). Caused me to see his cutter and use him for both my hip replacements. Guy's name is Wixson; long wait for scheduling because he does a lot of correcting others mistakes, teaches at Northwestern and is quite busy cutting most days. Worth the wait. I was out and driving in two days with the one and out in one day with the other. Almost no physical therapy with the first and none with the second. <br />

The knees will be different! Much tougher recovery than hips, for me it was not a great deal harder than getting your teeth cleaned.<br />

This could lead to that other class I've been thinking about starting. The Titanium/Ceramic Class (minimum one replacement to shoot the class).

Glad to see you, Blue Moon and Holly! Didn't realize that it had been such a holiday for you, as this was my first shoot since the beginning of last year. But shooting is good for the soul, so I hope you come out more again.

That's a top notch orthopedic group, alright. Dr. Kalinov did my left shoulder last year and did a helluva job, too...

Just used them for the hip replacements. Had my other work done out here. Figure the reworks and organ removals are easier than replacements (both shoulders, right knee, right wrist, right kidney out, appendix out is what comes to mind for most recent).<br />

Actually no. Most done arthroscopic, itty bitty incisions.
