Just want to thank everyone who attended the Trap Shoot. We had enough for two full squads and had fun shooting and harassing each other. First place went to Dastardly Dan, Second Place Devereaux, Third Place Johnny Popper.<br />

Marshall Magoo defended his title as the shooter with the lowest score and won the shotgun shells to replace the ones he wasted for shooting so poorly. Way top go Magoo! You aced me out again!<br />

Had a great time, SK. Thanks for setting this up. We had a nice group and I believe everyone had a good time. Always fun to the watch the faces on the spectators we usually draw - don't think they've ever seen anything but many $ trap guns out there.<br />

Great time today. Have to see if we can get another shoot set up before the end of the year (November or December). Did much better the third round of trap after I shot off that pesky little round thing on the end of the barrel. Without that little brass thing to obstruct my view I hit more of the clay birds.<br />
<br />
When Grit gets home from True Grit I guess I'll have him put another one of them round brass things on the end of the barrel.

Think about it... you are using 19th century "tools" in a modern 20th/21st century sport. I had a great time .... fresh air, met old & new buds and got to make a lot of noise. If you haven't try it (or find excuse's not too) then you are missing a GREAT time.<br />

My vote is for at least 2-3 "meets" a year. But we need a nick-name... how's Johnsburg Blasters sound? haha. <br />
