Set up for the shoot and delivery of some timber/barn wood today at the range. A big thank you to Wyatt, Dastardly Dan, Longtooth and Dirt Pyle who got out there early and had most of the work done before Denny and I got out there around 10:30 this morning (set up of the fort and walkway along with all the weed whacking and mowing from Floyd's area down to stage six). Coot came out a little later and finish cut the parking lot with his machine. Johnny Popper came a little later with the barn wood and we all helped unload that.<br />

Our landlord "Thunderbird Kid" rough cuts the range and the parking lot for us every month, either he or his wife "Susie Sackett." Makes things a bunch easier for Coot when he finish cuts it. <br />

The fort and the walkway are up, but there was some discussion about possible "tweaking" the set up after our prop builders had already left to go home. <br />

As most of you know the range does not set up and maintain itself, so thanks to the many Rough Riders who come out every month to make sure we have a manicured range to shoot at. I'm told they'll get their rewards in heaven if Father Jim gives them absolution for their many other sins.
