That's a wrap! Thanks for a great season. See you all next year!

We should be shooting 2nd Saturday and 4th Sunday again next year.

Final schedule to be finalized in February.

Worth a read...

Probably should put this under "News Feeds," but I ain't got posting privileges there. Answers the question about the largest common factor at all shooting/mass murder scenes: Lubys, VT, Columbine, etc. Other common factors but the largest is it's always a gunfree zone.
Gee. Ya think that has something to do with it? How can something like that happen in a "gun-free zone"? Look at how the handgun ban has eliminated gun violence in Chicago.
PS - The News Feed is set up to only accept automatic feeds from the NRA.

Subconsciously we all knew this. But it is nice to see it produced in something more tangible. I am also pleased to see that the police are finally making some adjustments to their "tactics". At Columbine it certainly looked like they were much more worried about their safety than that of the students. When you are in a gunfight, there ARE no "safe" places and it is best to get it over with. I fully understand backup, but sometimes there isn't time to set all that up. Yes, there would be better coverage for an officer IF there were two-man cars, but that isn't going to happen, so you might as well change how you view things.

The cops at least should change all of their cute little sayings to "Serve and Pick Up the Pieces" 'cause they sure aren't there to Protect.
