Got a new knee for Spring

<div class="IPBDescription">now you're gonna hear all about it</div>Last Monday I underwent a total right knee replacement at the Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital.<br />
They are one of 5 places in the U.S. that use a procedure which involves a total MRI of the knee (actually both knees for comparison purposes) and custom made knees which have been designed and made in Belgium. This makes the exact placement of the drilling templates possible along with precise placement of the replacement new knee parts. They had me up walking the next day and after 2 therapy sessions per day was booted out on Thursday. Already I can almost straighen my knee out and bend to about 100 degrees. I'm just happier than hell because 2 years of agonizing pain has literally vanished almost overnight. Maybe I'll even make it to a match or two this year.<br />
Unfortunately they can't fix the Parkinson's but I expect that to improve over time with less stress from the pain.<br />

The nurses were uniformly young and very pretty!!!

Glad to hear you're up and about and chasing all those pretty young things! Seems to be a lot of replacement parts among the Posse members these days. Looking forward to seeing you again this spring.<br />

Seems like half the posse is running around on metal knees. Dastardly Dan had two (at once) done a couple of years ago.
