That's a wrap! Thanks for a great season. See you all next year!

We should be shooting 2nd Saturday and 4th Sunday again next year.

Moving railroad ties...
Would have preferred to shoot, but Johnny Popper found us some railroad ties at a good price and we started to move them to the range today. Will try and get another load tomorrow. So if you missed some of us today, that's where we were. They're currently in a wall that we a tearing down and removing in Janesville and taking them down to our range. We know how to have a good time!

The plan is to build a wall running down range between stages four and five that will protect the shooter from shots fired on the other stages. Will give us the ability for forward movement in stage five when we're done. As with any of the proposed projects we will not be moving at high speed because most if not all of the Rough Riders are gimpy old men. The berm shield was done as rapidly as we possibly could go and that was because without it, no shoots.

Kids might be home for our shoot next week end. Stiff competition for us and the Grand Army of the Frontier Shoot the following week end. St. Jude shoot next week end and the IL state match the following week end. If you're not shooting either of those come on out and try shooting our new window blockades at the fort.

Hopefully we'll make one or both of the June shoots.
