Went out this morning only to find my flag laying in the driveway. Completely covered in clear ice and so stiff it stood up by itself. The weight must have been too much for the cords holding it. Another beautiful day in paradise!<br />

    I had to take my flag down after last week's ice storm; it was beating the siding and outdoor ornaments to death; it was half frozen so it was really whipping around.

    Might want to look into getting a generator for emergencies. I've seen power out for days around here after an ice storm. Fortunately, we have underground power lines here but we still have had some bad experiences.
