My granson wanted to buy his son a toy gun.The kid is 4 years old, my great granson.The kids mother said no way, " no kid of mine is going to play with guns, peroid.Well one day little Benjamin ( my great granson) got invited to a birthday party, When he got back home, Little Ben came into the house carying a wood Rubber band gun.( works pretty slick )Seems the man of the house there made a wood gun for each of the party guest.Ben had his little hand grasped tight around that gun. Well---his Mom relented.The next day Ben came to our house to spent a few hours.Ben came in, gun in hand,his mon right behind him.His mom said to my wife," well if Bens going to have guns, i thought there would be no body better to teach him how to handle guns than his greatfather." Oh yeah, i'm also working with my Great nephew on shooting BB guns, he's almost 9 now, but thats another story.

Glad to hear it! Raise them with guns and teach them to use them properly, safely and with respect - like we were! With the likelihood that so many anti-gun laws are going to be overturned by the courts in the next few years, proper training with firearms will be even more important.

I've got my oldest grandson lined up with a Stevens 311 .410, a Henry Golden Boy, and a pair of Single Sixes. I can't wait for this summer when he completes the gun safety course.<br />

Little Ben is 4 yrs. old. Don't really know if i'll be around when he's old enough to shoot cowboy. If i am, you bet.
