I'm sorry to hear that, Wyatt. I know the times I've been over to your place she was always very friendly and I know you will miss her a lot. Our pets become like our children and parting with them is painful.

So Sorry to hear of your loss, The reason we have pets is because we have so much love to share, and when we lose them, it is difficult.
Never a good thing when you lose a pet. They are family. Sometimes better than the two legged ones. My condolences to you. I do know first hand how it feels to put one down and it's tough to do.

What Tooth and the others said. Sadly I've always found that critters are many times better company too as Tooth put it than the "two legged" kind.
Words don't convey and I dread the next time I might have to do it even though I told the kids they have to do it the next time. One time I got lucky and one of ours died in her sleep taking the job out of our hands.
  • Sorry for your loss Wyatt. She will be missed by all.
Damn ,Wyatt! That is so sad! There are no words to ease the pain. Last time that happened to me, I went out and set myself up again, now he's almost 8 yrs old and I still think of the other one.
• I've got a Doberman, a Pomeranian, and an 8 week old Golde Retriever in the house right now, and it's still tough to lose one. They really get into your hearts. Nothing much to do for your loss except know you'll get to the point where you remember the good times more than the loss. We were discussing once whether or not dogs go to Heaven. A horse trainer I know said he read in the Bible that there were horses in Heaven pulling the chariots. He said he had been around horses all his life and where there were horses, there are mice. If there are mice, you have to have cats. If you have horses, mice, and cats, there must be dogs, so he expects to be greeted at the gates by his old friends.

Its a good thing you did getting your dog from the shelter. There are so many that don't have homes. I have 2 myself from shelters. I'm sure you provided her with a lot of happiness she might not of had if you didn't save her.
Wyatt, I am sooooo sad to hear of the loss of your pet. Never had the chance to meet Ming but I'm sure she was very special. We have 5 cats and I know there will be a lot of tears when they go off to kitty heaven. I still remember the boxer I grew up with. He died in 1968 at the age of 13...
All the guys are very right - our pets become dear and close friends and it is like losing a child.
