My son and I are planning to attend the Sass Open in Sparta, IL. Sept. 9-11. Is anyone else planing to go? Do you want to Posse Up? Has anyone gone to the Open before? [color="#099000"][size="4"]Would suggest you look at their website and check to see who has signed up. Then you can PM them here to see where they're staying etc. At least I'm thinking they have to have some sort of web site where you can check to see who has signed up. <br />

One day I might get to start going to some of the bigger shoots, but right now the work thing along with other stuff has definitely put a crimp in my shooting season. <br />

Lt. B. R. Sharps and I went to the very first one at Sparta. We camped about a half-hour away. There are lots of camps and hotels within reasonable distance. Ask Pair-A-Dice where he stayed as it was a nice place. There are some good eateries around as well. Ask Dice what that one was that we all went to. Think you will enjoy it. I am sure it is better than when we were there a few years ago...
