That's a wrap! Thanks for a great season. See you all next year!
We should be shooting 2nd Saturday and 4th Sunday again next year.
Final schedule to be finalized in February.
<div class="IPBDescription">First two done...</div>
Went down to Eagle Grips today and have attached a picture of the first two pistols that Raj did for me.<br />
<br />
For more than the last twenty years I've been dealing with "gold smiths/artists," real or imagined. Only found two worth their salt over that period of time. But I believe that Raj and his crew are doing some of the nicest work I've seen. Yes my exposure is probably limited by most standards (and I know it's not jewelry), but I think I know when I find people who give a damn and have a passion for their work and the quality of what they turn out.<br />
<br />
The picture doesn't do it justice, but then I'm no Denny with the camera. Check them out at the next shoot and for a nickel I'll let you fondle them.<br />

JJ those are just too cool!!!!!<br />
<br />
If I bring a dime can I fondle both of them at the same time?<br />
<br />
You know "Gunfighter" style. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thumbsup:' /> <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

I can think of a lot better things to fondle. Especially the two legged kind. Then in a pinch a set of stag grips and the smell of gun powder and steel ringing at the other end. At least I hope so. The ringing of steel that is.
<br />
Do you think you're man enough to handle both of them at the same time?<br />
<br />
But seriously, the weight of the new grips has changed the feel of the guns completely. It use to be that there was no weight there at all and I thought that I liked the way they handled. Now I think I like them even more. For their size they have considerable heft to them. All that bone weighs a bunch more than the wood. <br />
<br />
Can't wait to try them out and for the right price I might let someone else use them for the first time. Technically though, I guess they ain't virgins as this will be their fourth season at the range.
<br />
I'll be there with all the necessary equipment to get some good pics of all your fine gear!
I didn't know when I started all this in January that it would blossom into this! The grips look great! I know the kind of work Raj does, remember I have Elephant Ivory on the Colt .45s, American Elk on the Cimarron .357s and now the Stag on the Colt .44s. What to get next........? See you Saturday.<br />
