That's a wrap! Thanks for a great season. See you all next year!

We should be shooting 2nd Saturday and 4th Sunday again next year.

Final schedule to be finalized in February.

A test

Just trying out a new contraption I made to give better lighting for photos of guns, etc., than a flash can do. Here is a test photo of my Colts and a Lightning.
Nice pictures but, I see a lot of glare off of the cylinders and barrels of the guns.
Maybe there's an adjustment that can be made?

Ideally, I could drop the cost of a new Colt on some lights and that would cure the problem. The reflective tent I made simply bounces the flash around and eliminates the worst of the highlights.

The pic looks great, DD. Only other option would be to make the lighting even more indirect. Reflection could be from the walls or ceiling, too.

I know how you can cure that glare problem. Just let me take them for awhile and I'll wear the finish of them for you. It may take quite some time though, but I think I'm up to the task. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
