Menu problems

<div class="IPBDescription">How to cure...</div>While we were shooting in the rain (sounds like a 1952 Broadway Musical) today at Sycamore, one of the shooters mentioned that he could not get the menus and some other functions to work on the forum and the main website. The dropdown portion of the menus on the main website, the countdown timer and numerous functions on the forum rely on javascript for their operation. If you don't have this installed on your computer or have it disabled, these functions won't work for you.<br />

Java is one of the safer active programs (nothing is perfectly safe) and that is why it is in such widespread use. You can easily check to see if it working on your computer by going to the main website and clicking on "Other Clubs" on the main menu. If a new menu drops down with a list of other clubs, then everything is working fine. If not, you have a java deficiency!<br />

There are two things you can do to cure these problems if you are having them. First, check in your security settings to see if java or javascript is disabled. They should both be enabled. Second, although java comes with most later operating systems, you may have to download the latest version >>HERE<<<br />
